Preliminary Exam Details
The SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam 2025 is tentatively scheduled for February, though the exact date is yet to be announced. The preliminary exam will:
- Consist of 100 multiple-choice questions worth 100 marks.
- Be conducted in 1 hour.
- Impose a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
Separate admit cards will be issued for the preliminary exam closer to the exam date.

According to the official notification, this recruitment drive aims to fill 14,191 clerk vacancies. Applications were accepted between December 17 and January 7.
