Injuries and Medical Update
Lilavati Hospital’s COO, Dr. Uttamani, shared details about Saif’s injuries:
- Saif sustained six wounds, including two deep injuries.
- One injury near his spine required the involvement of a neurosurgeon.
The knife used in the attack was removed during surgery, and Saif is currently under observation. A statement from his team confirmed, “Saif is recovering, and all family members are safe. The police are investigating the case.”
Police Investigation Underway
Mumbai Police has formed 10 teams to investigate the case. DCP Dixit Gedam stated that the attacker’s intent was burglary.
Reactions and Political Debate
The incident has sparked concerns about Mumbai’s safety. Opposition leaders criticized the government, demanding Maharashtra Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s resignation. In response, Mr. Fadnavis called the attack serious but maintained that Mumbai remains safe. Minister of State for Home Yogesh Kadam accused the Opposition of politicizing the incident.

- सैफ को कुल 6 चोटें आईं, जिनमें से 2 गंभीर हैं।
- एक चोट उनकी रीढ़ के पास है, जिसके लिए न्यूरोसर्जन की मदद ली गई।
सर्जरी के बाद चाकू निकाल दिया गया है। सैफ की टीम ने बयान जारी कर कहा, “सैफ अब खतरे से बाहर हैं। परिवार के सभी सदस्य सुरक्षित हैं, और पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है।”
पुलिस जांच जारी
मुंबई पुलिस ने मामले की जांच के लिए 10 टीमें बनाई हैं। डीसीपी दीक्षित गेडाम ने बताया कि हमलावर का मकसद चोरी था।
राजनीतिक बहस
इस घटना के बाद मुंबई की सुरक्षा पर सवाल उठे। विपक्षी नेताओं ने महाराष्ट्र के गृह मंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस के इस्तीफे की मांग की। फडणवीस ने इसे गंभीर घटना बताया लेकिन कहा कि इससे मुंबई को असुरक्षित कहना गलत होगा। राज्य के गृह मंत्री योगेश कदम ने विपक्ष पर इस घटना को राजनीतिक रंग देने का आरोप लगाया।
